The Peel Chinese Community Service Hub is a single point of access which was developed to enhance community access to programs and services in Peel. It is a culturally sensitive, language specific service centre for Chinese residents. It aims to link Peel’s residents of all ages and cultural backgrounds with volunteer opportunities and training, employment and settlement services to enhance successful integration. It also serves as an information, recreational, and education centre with a broad range of programs delivered by co-located and mainstream service providers to empower community residents and strengthen the neighborhoods in Peel.

Our Mission

  • Establish a shared-space infrastructure for community service groups
  • Bridge service gaps for the people of Chinese descent residing in Peel Region
  • Nourish a vibrant and healthy community in Peel through community collaboration and engagement
  • Information and referral services

Our Vision

  • Bring broad range of services and programs that are linguistically accessible and culturally appropriate to the Chinese residents
  • Facilitate integration and social and civic engagement
  • Support existing agencies in serving the Chinese community and community at large in Peel Region
  • Empower community residents and strengthen the capacity of the neighborhood
  • Cultivate volunteerism among community residents

  • Space for service providers and grassroot agencies to deliver their services
  • Volunteer recruitment and training
  • Collaboration with mainstream service organizations to promote and provide the following services:

  • Early learning and parenting program
  • Volunteer programs
  • Family services
  • Social and civic engagement
  • Community, service and business information dissemination
